2026 Program Information

Dates: Monday, June 29, 2026 – Friday, July 24, 2026 (Please note: No school on Friday, July 3, 2026)

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Open House: Friday, June 27, 2026 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Supported Students

  • Students currently enrolled in grades 5 – 7
  • Students seeking a Maryland high school diploma receiving special education services
  • Students participating in the Alternate Framework who require a functional academic approach in and out of the general education classroom.

Services Provided

Students identified for ESY services at Academic Intervention will be provided with the services identified by the IEP team for ESY. The areas of services a student may be recommended for are:
  • Special education & related services in academic goal areas
  • Special education & related services in non-academic goal areas
  • Special education transportation if determined by the IEP team.
    • Note: Students with changes to the pick-up and drop-off address after May 15, 2026 cannot be guaranteed service for the beginning of the program.
  • Depending on site location, students will be provided with either a snack or meal
