The online calendar below is updated through the 2025-2026 school year with school closings and Board of Education meetings. The 2025-2026 A/B schedule for middle and high schools, and the elementary school Related Arts calendar is forthcoming. A printable 2025-2026 academic calendar also is forthcoming.

Additional & Non-Academic Calendars
Elementary school related arts operate on a rotating schedule with a color-coded calendar that varies for classrooms. Please check with your child’s homeroom teacher for that calendar and what their color codes are.
Several non-academic calendars are available for students and families, including:
- High School Sports Schedules
- Fine Arts Performance Schedules
- Special Education Parent and Guardian Calendar
School-specific calendars can be found on each school’s website.
Emergency Closings
The HCPSS calendar may be adjusted in cases of emergencies, including inclement weather.
Please Note: This is for informational purposes only. The last day of school, including the use of inclement weather days, will be communicated toward the end of each school year.

Graduations
Class of 2026
A schedule for Class of 2026 graduation ceremonies will be available in the spring, in coordination with Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Previous Commencement Ceremony Dates:
- Class of 2025: May 21-29 (no ceremonies May 23-26)
- Class of 2024: May 23-31 (no ceremonies May 27)
- Class of 2023: May 24-June 1 (no ceremonies May 26-29)
- Class of 2022: May 26-June 3 (no ceremonies May 30)
