Apprenticeship Maryland Program
During My Apprenticeship Program – Year 1 (H3) School to Apprentice
- Work Part-time 5 mornings per week
- Complete a minimum of 450 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Complete One Year of HACC Related Instruction (RI)
- Complete HCPSS graduation requirements (Math and English)
Graduation
Apprenticeship Continues
Year 2
- Attend Year 2 HACC Evening Classes
- Full-time Employment with 2,000 hours of OJT
Year 3
- Attend Year 3 HACC Evening Classes
- Full-time Employment with 2,000 hours of OJT
Year 4
- Attend Year 4 HACC Evening Classes
- Full-time Employment with 2,000 hours of OJT
HACC Graduation
Journeyworker
- $44,600–$77,643**
- HVAC Technician Journey Worker License
- 8,000 hours of OJT completed
- 160 hours of RI completed per year of the program
- 21-24 College Credits Earned (Howard, Harford, & Carroll Community colleges)
