Each Friday, the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) publishes a calendar of Interim Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano’s public events planned for the following week. His intent is to increase access to information and activities related to education in Howard County public schools. Schedules are subject to change but may be used to plan media coverage for the upcoming week.

Tuesday, October 17

4:00 p.m. – Board of Education meeting. Boardroom, Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City.

Thursday, October 19

10:00 a.m. – Bullying prevention event. Atholton High School, 6520 Freetown Road, Columbia. Martirano will introduce a new Public Service Announcement video to publicly reinforce the HCPSS commitment to rid schools and communities of destructive bullying behavior.
