2/25/16 – Canvas Notifications Issue

Parents and guardians who have registered an email address or cell phone number in the Canvas system, and set their notification settings to ASAP, Daily or Weekly have not been receiving these notifications from their child’s classes in Canvas. HCPSS staff are working with Canvas to have this situation resolved as soon as possible. Parents may continue to view their child’s current grades, assignments, calendars, content pages and more by logging in to HCPSS Connect and selecting Canvas. Teachers will continue to have the ability to communicate to parents and guardians via email. Students are not impacted, and will continue receiving all course notifications per their notification preferences.
