Elementary and Secondary Mathematics Essential Curriculum

Elementary Mathematics Essential Curriculum

The following are links to Howard County's current middle and high school Mathematics Essential Curriculum (based on Maryland's current Mathematics State Curriculum). Revised versions of this curriculum will be phased in beginning during the 2011-12 school year to reflect the expectations associated with Maryland's Common Core State Curriculum Framework for Mathematics.

Student (and Family) Mathematics Activity Resource Tools

  • SMART Pages - Provide:
    • Students with links to online mathematics resources including activities, games and virtual manipulatives they use in class.
    • Students with "print and play" activities to practice mathematics.
    • Parents with information about the HCPSS elementary mathematics instructional program.
