Extended School Year
Extended School Year (ESY) services
are provided for those students with
disabilities who qualify for services as
determined by their Individualized
Education Program (IEP) Team. ESY
options include a range of programs and
services to meet the individualized needs
of elementary and secondary age special
education students. Program eligibility
and placement are determined at the
IEP Team meeting considering the
Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
for delivery of ESY objectives. Programs
are provided at HCPSS summer program sites.
