Services Offered
School Health services include:
- Chronic disease management and health
education
Delivery of pediatric nursing procedures: medication
administration, gastrostomy feedings,
catheterization, nebulizer treatments, tracheotomy
care, and so on.
- Assessments and interventions for emotional
and social needs
Individualized health plans and services for
students with disabilities or health conditions that
interfere with learning.
- Illness and injury assessments and
interventions
Identification, assessment, planning, intervention,
and evaluation of health concerns.
- Health assessments and participation in IEP
development and implementation
Coordination of State Mandated Programs including
lead screening, hearing and vision screening,
scoliosis screening, immunization, and physical exam
review.
