AAC 2017 Meetings

One November 16, 2017, the Board of Education approved changes to the school attendance areas for the 2018/2019 school year. Reference the interactive map to look up your student(s) 2018/2019 school assignment.

UPDATES: AAC 8/22 Recommendation, Data, Regional Meeting and New Survey

The final Attendance Area Committee meeting was August 22, 2017 and the group has developed a recommendation to the Superintendent. The AAC recommendation is based on data provided on or before August 22, 2017. The AAC’s recommendation relieves overcrowding countywide, and sets the stage for a new high school along the route 1 corridor in approximately 2024 (as presented in the June 2017 Feasibility Study). The associated maps and summary data (which were created using revised housing data, see explanation below) are included under the August 22, 2017 meeting.

June 27 – Department of Education, Board Room, 7:00 p.m.

AAC participants were introduced to the planning process. Staff members presented the feasibility Study, and AAC participants received homework. AAC members asked staff to explore longer meeting times.

September 27, Alternative AAC Scenario

Interim Superintendent Michael J. Martirano requested that the AAC provide additional feedback regarding the impact to its recommendation of a 13th High School site location in the northeastern part of the County.
