Governor and Executive Visit Worthington Elementary
Monday, February 4 -- Governor Martin O'Malley and County Executive Ken Ulman visit Worthington Elementary. The governor was there to announce $333 million in state funding for school building improvements. The governor and the county executive were impressed with the school system's technology initiatives, particularly the addition of technology teachers in elementary schools. They also commented on the outstanding work of the students in music, writing, and other areas of the curriculum.
