Each Friday, the Howard County Public School System publishes a calendar of Interim Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano’s public events planned for the following week. His intent is to increase access to information and activities related to education in Howard County public schools. Schedules are subject to change but may be used to plan media coverage for the upcoming week.

4 p.m. – Board of Education Meeting. The evening session will include public hearings on Policy 8040 Selection of Instructional Materials and the 2018–2019 Proposed Academic Calendar. Boardroom, Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike in Ellicott City.
