Board of Education to Meet with Student Leaders and Hold Regular Meeting, November 16, 2017

The Howard County Board of Education will hold its fall meeting with student leaders at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, prior to its regularly scheduled meeting, beginning at 4 p.m. with an evening session at 7:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Boardroom at the Department of Education, 10910 Clarksville Pike in Ellicott City.

The afternoon and the evening sessions of the Board meeting will begin with a Public Forum, when members of the public may address the Board on any topic other than those for which a formal public hearing process exists. To sign up to speak at Public Forum, contact the Board’s office at 410-313-7194. Advance sign up is preferred.

The evening session will include Approval of Attendance Area Adjustment Plan.

Individuals may request a sign language interpreter for any meeting of the Board of Education by contacting Colleen Markiewicz, interpreter scheduler, at 410-313-7046. A two-week advance notice is preferred.
