Public Invited to Provide Input on New School System Positions
Posted: July 19th, 2017
The Howard County Public School System is seeking public input as it moves forward with the hiring process for the new Industrial Hygienist and Special Education Parent Liaison positions. These positions were created to strengthen the school system’s commitment to equity, transparency and community responsiveness.
Community members are invited to submit desired leadership characteristics and to suggest interview questions for both positions by completing online surveys. Responses will be collected from July 19 through August 2, 2017. Detailed descriptions of both positions are also provided.
The survey responses will be shared with the formal interview panels and will inform the development of interview questions and response rubrics for both open positions. Input identifying specific candidates for the positions will not be considered.
These surveys are now closed
