HCPSS Seeks Citizen Members for Attendance Area Committee, Deadline April 28

The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) invites citizens to take an active role in school attendance area adjustments (redistricting) and school boundary alternatives as a member of the Attendance Area Committee (AAC).

The AAC is an advisory committee to the superintendent and provides suggested attendance area adjustments. Elementary School attendance area adjustments are under consideration for the 2018–2019 school year.

The committee will meet approximately 10 times to provide advice, input and comment during the attendance area adjustment planning phase. Proposed boundary adjustment plans must be reviewed by a committee comprised of 10–15 Howard County residents and may include one student.
