Responsible Use of Technology and Social Media for an Inclusive CommUNITY, Nov. 14

October 26th, 2016

The public is invited to attend a free community event, Responsible Use of Technology and Social Media for an Inclusive CommUNITY on Monday, November 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the Homewood Center, 10914 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City.

HCPSS staff will be joined by students and representatives from the Howard County Police Department and Howard County Library System to engage in a discussion around technology use in our classrooms, and ways we can work together to help keep our children safe in an increasingly digital world.

Following the panel discussion, parents, students and community members will have an opportunity to collaborate with one another in an effort to share experiences and resources. HCPSS, HCPD, and HCLS staff will join these conversations to ensure we are all maximizing our efforts to keep children safe so that they can fully experience the incredible benefits that technology is affording them.

Be sure to follow, and take part in our discussions regarding an inclusive community on social media by using #HCPSSCommUNITY.
