HCPSS Seeks Citizen Members for Records Management Policy Development Committee

June 28th, 2016

The Howard County Public School System invites citizens to take an active role in developing and revising school system policies as members of policy development/revision committees. The knowledge, experience and perspective shared by community stakeholders improve the policy review process and ensure transparency at every stage of the committee’s work.

HCPSS is currently seeking candidates for membership on the Policy 3050 Records Management development committee. The committee will include one individual representing the General Citizens stakeholder group.

Policy committees typically meet 4–5 times to discuss and make policy recommendations regarding educational programs and school system operations.

Interested citizens may submit a statement of interest online, complete and email this form to policy@hcpss.org, or mail a printed copy to Policy/Charter Schools Office, 10910 Clarksville Pike Ellicott City, Maryland 21042. The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 15, 2016.
