HCPSS is pleased to announce that parents now have access to the Canvas Learning System, which includes the grade book (assignments and assignment scores).
Below are important items to be aware of as you get started with Canvas:
Mobile Applications
- Canvas features free Android and iPhone mobile apps that many students have downloaded. The app allows students to access their course materials at anytime, from anyplace.
Canvas Grade Book
- Individual assignments and assignment scores are viewable in Canvas.
- Individual assignment scores are not viewable in Synergy.
- Synergy will remain the primary system for recording interim and final grades.
- Final grades will appear in Synergy as they appear on interim reports and on report cards at the end of each quarter.
Access Canvas by logging in at HCPSS Connect and clicking on the Canvas tab on the left side of the screen.
