HCPSS Receives Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting

Howard County Public School System has received a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) in recognition of the school system’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This is the 11th consecutive year that HCPSS has earned the award.

The CAFR met or exceeded ASBO International’s Certificate of Excellence standards. This award represents a significant achievement and reflects a commitment to fiscal integrity and high-quality financial reporting.

ASBO is an educational association that supports school business professionals who provide programs and services to promote high standards of school business management, professional growth, and the effective use of educational resources.
