HCPSS Students Nationally Ranked at Future Business Leaders Competition

Eight HCPSS students brought home medals from the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference and Competition held in Chicago. The students competed as part of the Maryland Future Business Leaders of America delegation, which included more than 225 students and advisors from the state, and who took home 11 medals altogether.
The following students received national ranking at the FBLA Awards of Excellence Program held July 2, 2015.
- Centennial High School Students Pranav Ganapathy and Kunal Pathade placed 9th for their American Enterprise Project.
- Yixuan Jiu of Marriotts Ridge High School ranked 7th in the Business Law event.
- Nick Santangelo of Marriotts Ridge high School placed 2nd in the Health Care Administration event.
- Mt. Hebron High School students Handa Chun and Shayan Siahpoushan placed 9th in the Network Design category.
- Nikki Datta and Kristin Li from River Hill High school ranked 5th for their Public Service Announcement.
