July 6th, 2015

Middle school students from Howard County Public School System took home honors at the MESA USA national engineer design competition at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, on June 19, 2015. The students designed a prosthetic arm that can throw and pick up objects. Weber State University and the Utah MESA team hosted the competition to help students use critical thinking, creativity and teamwork to develop an engineering-based solution to modern problems.
