Application Checklist
When applying
for a teaching position, Human Resources must receive all the
items listed below.
1. Teacher Employment
Application (pdf)
2. Applicant Population Record
Form (pdf) and
Signed Statement About Maryland Employment
Laws (pdf)
3.
Signed Statement
About Maryland Retirement Information (pdf)
4. References - An up-to-date college
placement file is preferred.
Experienced applicants may choose
instead to send 3 written
references and/or evaluations from
principals and/or supervisors.
Teacher
Applicant Reference Form (pdf)
5. College Transcripts - photocopies are acceptable.
6. Photocopy of Maryland Teaching Certificate
or Letter of Eligibility.
7. Praxis Scores - if required
to take the tests by the State of Maryland.
8. Representation Fee Requirements (pdf)
Submit by Post Mail
Submit completed applications and
forms by post mail. Since we require your original signature
on the application, we are unable
to accept applications by email or fax.

Certification Status
Your application will be carefully
considered in the area of your certification and desired teaching field
as soon as it has been completely processed. If you are unsure of your
certification status, you should contact the Maryland State Department
of Education's Office of Certification to determine your
eligibility for a Maryland Teaching Certificate.
