What Schools Can Offer Partners
Partnership agreements should include the following
services that schools will offer to the partnering
organization.
- Press release announcing the
partnership formation
- Announcement and recognition
of the partnership in school newsletter, and on
posters and
school web site. (To include partner name
and logo only.)
- Recognition of the
partnership in the Howard County Public School
System Educational Partnership Annual Report
- Plaque commemorating
partnership
- Invitation to the HCPSS
Annual Partnership Celebration
- Free student musical
performances or display of student artwork at the
partner’s business location
Schools cannot offer the following to partners.
- Schools cannot explicitly
advertise, or distribute exclusive advertising, for
the partner. For more information, refer to
“Publications/Communications,” section II-B (HCPSS
policy no. 9030). See:

- Schools cannot offer free
meeting space to partners for fee-based activities.
