New Teacher Orientation
Welcome to the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS).
Congratulations on joining one of the finest school
districts in the nation.
HCPSS offers a three-day comprehensive New Teacher
Orientation (NTO) the week before all teachers return to
their schools in August. All sessions are supportive of
a smooth opening and your continued success with HCPSS.

Compensation: New teachers are paid a $50 per day
stipend (Tuesday - Thursday).
