Policies and Procedures
The Board of Education is responsible for setting local education policy consistent with state and federal laws governing public education. At the direction of the Board, the Superintendent and the school system's administrative staff develop procedures and administrative regulations to support policy decisions.

Public Input
As policies are developed or revised, the public is urged to provide input. Policies under review are listed below, along with their current status. Please review the current policy or proposal as applicable. The timeline for public hearings and adoption is included with each proposal. Comments may be submitted via email by the Comment link. The public is also invited to testify at the public hearings, or to write or phone Board members once the proposal is published. Comments will be shared with the committee prior to presentation of the report to the Board of Education and to the Board thereafter.
